Change of sequence.

When me and Joe began to edit more of the film, we could see that a lot was going on and it was hard to follow exactly what was happening and why. We both decided to change the way the film was ordered. The phone call at the beginning of the film has now been moved and the beginning is now straight to the bank robbery and then half of the phone call comes up so the audience have a better idea of what is going on when they watch the film. We then placed the van scene in as this is where Joes Monologue has to be put in. We got rid of a lot of shots in this scene as we believed they were not actually use full. After Joes monologue we decided to put the rest of the phone call in as people will remember what exactly is happening. The last scene is still the gangster meeting with Frank and the rest of the gangsters.

Filming 15th.

When we began to film on Friday we realised we needed to change a lot of different bits in our 2minute film. We decided to change the amount of actors we needed, when we organised our film we put together that we needed four gangsters, but when we began to film we realised how hard this actually was to put other actors in to the film, we tried to put the actors in but as a group we did not think that it actually worked. So instead we only used four actors all together instead of 6. We also changed bits of our film and the script (which will be uploaded to show) as the shots and the scenes which we wrote on out story bard was hard to shoot so we decided to change shots. The shots that we changed were actually improved from the ones in which we had as we tried many times to try different shots and we chose the ones we believed were the best. We also decided to cross link the shots as we believed it would look much better that the film just running through shot after another. The filming was actually rather hard to do as the wind was very high and was disturbing the camera and it could be heard quite a lot, we tried as hard as we could to stop the wind interfering with the camera but when we uploaded the film onto the mac you can still here the wind that the camera had picked up.

Coursework.

Why my group did not reach the deadline of 4Th January 2010.

My group did not reach the deadline for the coursework this is because of many problems in which we came across. The first major problem in which we faced was that I was away for the first few days of the Christmas holidays and I could not film till after Christmas. Our second problem was that it was hard to get in touch of each other as one of our phones was cut of this made it difficult to get in touch.
Our final problem was a problem in which we could not solve this was the condition of the weather. When we organised to film some of our film the weather was bad , the rain was heavy and there was a lot of ice. We decided not to film with the ice on the floor as one of us could have fallen and hurt our self. This would not have been good as one of us could have been very hurt. Another problem which we faced was that our actors could not make the same days in which others could so this made it very hard to film as we did not have actors.

We have one scene left to shoot and we have decided to film this on the 7Th of January. This is the gangster meeting.

Not having our coursework in on time made me realise that my group has a lot less time than other groups to edit the film. This is not good as editing I believe is a huge part to the grade that we achieve. If I could do my film again I already know that I would be 100% on organisation as we left our filming to do quite late as we believed that we would have had it all finished by the 4Th. Also I would ask for more actors as if one could not make it then we would not have to cancel the whole shoot but just change actors.
